I will go to my friend’s younger sister for her Bat Mitzvah party this saturday. But I don’t know which is good gift for her. I need your help. Of course, I cannot afford an expensive item. I want to find good or reasonable price in a store.

Unless you know a specific gift that she would like, the traditional Bat Mitzvah present is a check in a multiple of $18, such as $18, $36, $54, etc. This reason is that the number 18 represents “life” in Hebrew.
I would suggest that you simply have your parents write a check for $36 or $54 and put it in a greeting card, and give it to the girl at the reception after the Bat Mitzvah service.

It depends on her personality. If she’s someone who loves flowers, or creativity in that type of sense then you could get her some nice light prefume, of some type of lotions and aromas. Or if she’s really into clothes and shopping give her a gift certificate and she can go shopping and buy whatever she wants. But don’t get her clothes as her present, because there is a chance that she won’t like it, or it won’t fit, or it’s the wrong colour and so on. And one more example: if she’s the type of person who likes jewelry you can customize earings, necklaces, bracelets.. Things like that with her name on it, or use beads/charms that represent things that she likes or are important to her. Good luck! Hope I gave you some ideas to think about.

Money or a gift card.
